Wintertime Woes

Project Bible Day 70 Wintertime Woes

Let this story be a warning to all who listen. Wintertime Woes have nothing to do with going outside without a jacket on. That’s the easy part. This message is directed to the youth of the world who believe in Jesus and yet have not decided to serve him.  This message has everything to do with whether we as children will be willing serve the Christ without reservation or compromise. I know it’s easy to say it but it’s another thing to have the faith to follow through on that vow. That’s right. I said VOW!  The reason I said vow is because when we as Children of the Lord we make a vow with heaven to stand firm on the promises of God. I say this with strong conviction. I also say it is far better to serve God in holiness and righteousness than it is to hearken to the voice of men.

Acts 5:27-29King James Version (KJV)

27 And when they had brought them, they set them before the council: and the high priest asked them,

28 Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man’s blood upon us.

29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

A little over a month ago, I explained to my readers that my parents who are  unbelievers and who have blasphemed against the Holy Ghost recently got a court order against me so that I would stop praying. In  that court order I was ordered to either go to jail for praying or find a new home. When this rather ridiculous paperwork came to light rather than let up on  my prayer life, I should have increased my prayer time . I should have prayed three times a day like Daniel. I should have yield  to God a lot more than man.   In  truth my flesh became weak, and when your flesh isn’t put under subjection by going to the higher mountain, I became weak, oh so weak.

Matthew 26:39King James Version (KJV)

39 And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me:

Now if I spoke in the will of God. My flesh would have been crucified enough to say that second part of that verse  I would have enough courage to stand firm on the truth and say

Matthew 26:39King James Version (KJV)

nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.

Daniel 6:9-22King James Version (KJV)

Wherefore king Darius signed the writing and the decree.

10 Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.

11 Then these men assembled, and found Daniel praying and making supplication before his God.

12 Then they came near, and spake before the king concerning the king’s decree; Hast thou not signed a decree, that every man that shall ask a petition of any God or man within thirty days, save of thee, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions? The king answered and said, The thing is true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not.

13 Then answered they and said before the king, That Daniel, which is of the children of the captivity of Judah, regardeth not thee, O king, nor the decree that thou hast signed, but maketh his petition three times a day.

14 Then the king, when he heard these words, was sore displeased with himself, and set his heart on Daniel to deliver him: and he laboured till the going down of the sun to deliver him.

15 Then these men assembled unto the king, and said unto the king, Know, O king, that the law of the Medes and Persians is, That no decree nor statute which the king establisheth may be changed.

16 Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of lions. Now the king spake and said unto Daniel, Thy God whom thou servest continually, he will deliver thee.

17 And a stone was brought, and laid upon the mouth of the den; and the king sealed it with his own signet, and with the signet of his lords; that the purpose might not be changed concerning Daniel.

18 Then the king went to his palace, and passed the night fasting: neither were instruments of musick brought before him: and his sleep went from him.

19 Then the king arose very early in the morning, and went in haste unto the den of lions.

20 And when he came to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice unto Daniel: and the king spake and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God, whom thou servest continually, able to deliver thee from the lions?

21 Then said Daniel unto the king, O king, live for ever.

22 My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions’ mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.

Here is the link to the full story… The Price of Prayer

I was so weak and on edge. I often had to sleep a few hours a night in fear that I would taken away in the middle of the night. I foolishly gave the devil victory in that area in my life. Even if it was just for a short period of time.  The reason I felt weak is because I didn’t take on the Holy Boldness to stand up to unrighteousness much like the members of the early church.

Acts 4:29-31King James Version (KJV)

29 And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word,

30 By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.

31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

downloadInstead of going deeper into the glory cloud with God. My flesh was weakened. Due to this happening I let up on my prayer time. I spoke more in the flesh than in the Holy Spirit of God.  I have deep faith in God however when I was presented with either jail time and the removal of my passport or find a new house. I wept. I not only wept, I sank in my emotions like Peter sank in the Sea before Jesus reached out for him. I relied too much on my feelings and not enough on my faith.

Matthew 14:30-31King James Version (KJV)

30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.

31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?

I knew that when my parents threatened to remove my passport, I knew who was  really behind such nonsense. As for my family, I separated from them completely… I am too busy  fishing for the Lord and I must go to those people that will listen to the Word. Whether people believe it or not we are in a War! This is the final act. We as people must be prayed up, fasted up and Bible ready to get this Gospel to the world. Well I was staying at my parents in an effort to transfer to another school. I rarely did study. It did effect me so much. I really wasn’t expecting some family members of mine attempting to kill me.

One family member even went on a fast until I left the property. This family member of mine fasted for three days and would never eat nor drink until I left.

I thought it was quite funny what the devil was doing to this person and they didn’t even know it. One day I remember hearing about how the Jewish leaders got together and bound themselves to a curse. pharisees

Acts 23:12-14King James Version (KJV)

12 And when it was day, certain of the Jews banded together, and bound themselves under a curse, saying that they would neither eat nor drink till they had killed Paul.

13 And they were more than forty which had made this conspiracy.

14 And they came to the chief priests and elders, and said, We have bound ourselves under a great curse, that we will eat nothing until we have slain Paul.

I had to make a decision real quick, do I go to jail and silence the crowd or do I find a new home and keep this gospel going? The answer is obviously that I found a new home so that I could maintain my prayer life.

Let each and every soul that reads this message understand this, we must stay yielded to the Holy Ghost 24/7/  Dear Children the powers of darkness and light are clashing. This is not the time to sitting on the fence. On this day you must choose who who serve but as for me and my house.  …

Joshua 24:15King James Version (KJV)

15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

Sinners Prayer….

Dear reader of this message if these things have blessed you.. Than I encourage you to seek God with your whole heart. However first if you and your heart will yield to the will of God he will make you a new creation. The old self is crucified and the new you, the one that walks after the spirit is reborn through the shed blood of the lamb.  Give your heart to the Lord right now and join  me in saying the sinners prayer…

“Oh God, save my soul, I’m so sorry that I have sin against you but I have come home, I’m going to serve you Lord, the rest of my life… I believe that the blood of Jesus washes away all my sins. Come into my heart Jesus, Come on into my heart.”

If you sincerely meant that prayer Jesus is now the Lord of your life. Hang onto him the rest of the journey, don’t look back to the things of the world….
